How do I place an order?
  • You can choose your brand via an extremely simple and intuitive dashboard, which will guide you to the Product of your choice.
  • Once on the Product page, you can tap on the product and go to the “Product Details” page.
  • On the “Product Details” page, you can view the pricing, schemes, description of the product and the distributor assigned to your outlet for the product.
  • Once selected, you can either “Buy Now” and check out or you can “Add to Cart” and continue ordering
Why must I buy from X Distributor and not Y?
  • The Distributor(s) assigned to a particular outlet is assigned by the Brand Company, according to which you have the option to choose where to order.
  • If a Brand Company provides more than one option for Distributor selection you will need to ensure completion of schemes with the same Distributor.
What are my payment options for goods bought on Pipeline F&B?
  • The Payment Options that exist are: Payment via cheque to Distributor directly and through HDFC Credit Card.
How do I know if my order has been received?
  • After placing your order from the Pipeline FnB Application or Website, your status will read ‘Placed.’
  • Following this, you will receive confirmation (via notification on the application/ website, SMS and Email) and the order will now pass to the Distributor.
  • Once accepted, your status in ‘My Orders’ will get auto-updated.
How does the ordering system work?
  • Once your order is placed, the distributor will either “Accept” your order or put your order “On Hold”.
  • The order is put “On Hold” if there are any previous dues pending or if the ordered product is out of stock.
  • When the Order is “Accepted,” you are auto-notified.

What info is provided to me via Pipeline?
  • Pipeline FnB provides you with all details of your purchases made via the application or website- by brand, size, value, total transactions, categories of products purchased, and by month, year etc
  • This information, available in the ‘Reports’ section of ‘My Account’ will be available to you in real-time.
When do I get my payment for goods sold?
  • There are two modes of payments enabled on the platform. The outlet can chose to pay either “Offline” or “Online”.
  • The Offline mode is via cheques, which is the current system and the Online mode is available to those who have been given the HDFC Bank’s Business Credit Card.
How does order placement and delivery work?
  • Once the Outlet places an order, you will be notified via notification on the application/ website, SMS and Email.
  • Each order will have a Unique Order Number.
  • Upon receiving the order, you can either “Accept” the order or place the order “On Hold”. (On Hold may be either due to earlier over-dues or non-availability of stocks)
  • The outlet may change/cancel the order placed, before you “Accept”. Once accepted the order can be cancelled via phone or message, offline.
  • Upon Acceptance of the Order, you will need to enter the Identification number of the Order alongside the Order. (Invoice Number, TP No., etc)
  • Once this is done, the status of the order will change to “Out for Delivery”
  • Once accepted, the order should be delivered within 24 hours, under normal circumstances.

  • Schemes can be fully customized on the platform enabling only the outlet who is meant to see the deal gets to see it.
  • It cannot be seen by any other outlet and is kept completely confidential and secure.

What kind of data-analytics is offered by Pipeline FnB
  • Depending upon the hierarchy, the team is able to view sales by Outlet, SKU, Brand, Area and Category etc.
  • A Sales Executive can see her/his sales by the outlets that she/he is responsible for.
  • The Area/Zonal Head can see her/his sales executives reports individually and collectively.
  • All this information is available real-time.
  • The Regional head can see the reports of sales executives as well as Area heads, individually or collectively.
What communications can Brand Companies expect on Pipeline FnB
  • Once the outlet places an order, a message to the relevant sales person is sent regarding the order generated. The message is sent via SMS, notification and email. The same message is also sent to the distributor
  • The Brand Company can send out notifications on new trade and consumer schemes, new product launches etc. instantly to all customers or selectively to customers of their choice
  • The Brand Companies can also show case their products on the header and footer banners provided on the dashboard.
  • All notifications and banners are available at special invitational prices.
